PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Coordinating philanthropic investments to strengthen families
The Project
Coordinating Two-Generation Investments at the Annie E. Casey Foundation
The Annie E. Casey Foundation sought to better align its Two-Generation initiatives—efforts designed to support children and their parents together—to increase efficiency, amplify learning, and maximize impact across its portfolio. I was engaged to provide project management and coordination support to strenghten these efforts.
The Approach
Facilitated bimonthly committee and subcommittee meetings, providing agendas, materials, documentation, and follow-up to ensure clear outcomes and next steps.
Designed tools and processes—including a work plan, newsletter, and restructured SharePoint site—to enhance knowledge-sharing and track progress.
Partnered with staff on budget planning and strategic alignmnent to ensure resources supported priority goals.
The Results
Through this coordinated effort, the Foundation strengthened collaboration across teams, improved knowledge-sharing, and sharpened its strategic alignment. With clearer processes and tools in place, staff were better equipped to build on lessons learned and drive greater impact for families.
